The Georgetown Environmental Law and Policy Program (GELPP) facilitates and encourages synergy among the elements that have contributed to making Georgetown a national leader in environmental and land use law.
Among other activities, GELPP performs the following functions:
- Maintains a web site that provides prospective students and other interested persons with information about Georgetown’s environmental and land use law faculty, courses, clinics, centers, events, and news.
- Organizes events and conferences to enrich understanding and discussion of contemporary problems in environmental and land use law and policy.
- Promotes communication and mutual support among faculty, students, and alumni working in environmental and land use law, including publication of an electronic newsletter and maintenance of contact information of alumni working in the field.
